TOP 5 HOLLYWOOD MOVIE DIRECTORS.

Film directors create an overall vision through which a film eventually becomes realized. Realizing this vision includes overseeing the artistic and technical elements of film production, as well as directing the shooting timetable and meeting deadlines. This entails organizing the film crew in such a way as to achieve his or her vision of the film. This requires skills of group leadership, as well as the ability to maintain a singular focus even in the stressful environment of a film set.

Some of the top film industries in the world are Hollywood - U.S.A, Bollywood - India, Nollywood - Nigeria but for today we are going to focus on Hollywood. I've also reviewed a list of the top 5 movie directors in hollywood below.

1. David Fincher

When Fincher was 18 years old he went to work for John Korty at Korty Films in Mill Valley. He subsequently worked at ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) from 1981-1983. Fincher left ILM to direct TV commercials and music videos.

2. Luc Besson

His early life was entirely aquatic. He already showed amazing creativity as a youth, writing early drafts of The Big Blue and The Fifth Element, as an adolescent bored in school. Luc Besson spent the first years of his life following his parents, scuba diving instructors, around the world.

3. James Cameron

He was born in Ontario, Canada, 1954 but moved to the United States in 1971. The son of an engineer, he majored in physics at California State University but, after graduating, drove a truck to support his screenwriting ambition. He landed his first professional film job as art director.

4. Christopher Nolan

Over the course of a decade plus of filmmaking, Nolan has gone from low-budget independent films to working on some of the biggest blockbusters ever.  He is best known for his cerebral, often non-linear storytelling.

5. Steven Speilberg

Steven Spielberg is perhaps Hollywood’s best known director and one of the wealthiest filmmakers in the world. Spielberg has countless big-grossing, critically acclaimed credits to his name, as producer, director and writer.
